The Club has run a number of complimentary training activities (hojo undo), including boxing-based training, strength and flexibility training and martial arts conditioning. At present we are currently running FlexiFit, and encouraging members to explore the facilities of Toowoomba’s Fit Lab.

FlexiFit is a targeted set of routines that focus on improving strength and flexibility for the martial arts. It is based on the approach taken by Kit Laughlin, and included "Contract-relax" (PNF) exercises and partner work.

Sessions primarily focus on core flexibility and strength, range of movement for limbs and integration of functional strength for the martial arts. It uses some of the familiar postures from yoga and provides a range of approaches to improve physical condition.
