Seitei Iaido is a modern synthesis of several koryu sword arts, designed to preserve core aspects of traditional Japanese sword work. It consists of twelve solo-performed kata as set by the All Japan Kendo Federation (AJKF, Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei or ZNKR). The twelve Seitei Iaido forms (seitei-gata) are standardised for the tuition, promotion and propagation of Iaido at the Iaido clubs, that are members of the regional Kendo federations.

Seitei iaido practice in Toowoomba each Tuesday night, and members can participate in the "virtual dojo" on Wednesday nights, with the Club diaspora in North Queensland and Bundaberg participating in common training.

As an affiliate dojo of Kohokai, members are encouraged to train with Tom Johnson sensei at Pine Mountain.
